At Columbia Equine Hospital, we have spent decades taking care of the health of horses from high-level equine athletes to weekend trail horses and retired seniors. We look forward to being a part of your care team. We are pleased to provide care to our equine patients out at the farm or at our large and state-of-the-art facility in Gresham, Oregon. Our practice is focused on equine medicine, dentistry, advanced diagnostics and imaging, preventive care, surgery and emergency medicine.

The History of Our Practice
Columbia Equine Hospital was originally started as a one-doctor ambulatory practice in 1983 by Dr. Scott Hansen. He quickly realized that his patients could benefit from care that could not be offered in the field.
The hospital now supports the ambulatory practice that has grown to five full-time veterinarians and one consulting dental specialist.
Our Facility
Columbia Equine Hospital's state-of-the-art equine facility is conveniently located in Gresham. Our hospital features three treatment areas, with two sets of stocks, and well as a padded surgical suite. On top of this, we are proud to have a dedicated farrier consultation area, video camera monitoring for hospitalized patients and an in-house diagnostic lab and pharmacy.
